Córdoba, Cordova in English, a city in northern Spain, in the Andalusia region. People lived in that region even 42 000 years before Christ. In 206 BC Romans took over the city. In the 700s the city became a part of a Muslim emirate. A few hundred years later, in 1236, Christians reconquered Córdoba. Quite complicated history as for one city.
These days, the city has over 300 000 inhabitants and is a popular tourist destination. Lots of things to see and visit there!
My friend says the best time to enjoy Córdoba is in February when the weather is pleasant and it is not too hot.
