Zielona Góra (Green Mountain) is situated in western Poland. It was established in the 13th century and granted town rights in 1323. Nowadays, Zielona Góra has over 200,000 inhabitants.

 Ciechocinek is a spa town in Poland. There are amazing wooden graduation towers that produce salt out of saline waters. That enriches the air around the towers in a spectacular way.

Hotel, Beach and Cabana Club - San Juan, Puerto Rico

 

The hotel was built in 1961. The Internet says "La Concha" was closed and sold in 2004. However, it seems it still operates in a changed/new version.

The beautiful area of Snowdonia in Wales appears quite frequently in one of the TV series we are currently watching. I used to exchange letters with a lady who lived in that area. However, this card came from another pen-pal who just visited the place.

Mickey mouse was born somewhere else and has nothing to do with Nuremberg besides the fact that the stamp was stuck on the above postcard.

Hel Peninsula, Poland is the place where you can find clean, sandy beaches, Baltic Sea, fishermen, and a perfect spot for summer holidays. I used to go there from time to time as well.

Posted in Puck (a town in Kashubia, Poland). The place got its town rights in 1348.

Alvor, Portugal

I was surprised when I got the postcard, surprised that the pen-pal was able to travel to Portugal in the times of COVID. Later, I learned that she had managed to go there (no virus in that area then) and come back home in November 2020, a few days before it became impossible, and the border was closed. Good, that she could enjoy her holidays and did not get grounded there.

 

 

Alvor is a seaside place and a fishing village in the very South of Portugal.
